Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 2025
Our commitment. The Bridge Placement Network Inc. (“The Bridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards so our platform is usable by as many people as possible.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive.
Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more accessible to everyone. Our efforts include:
- Keyboard navigation and skip links so you can reach main content and use the site without a mouse
- Sufficient color contrast (WCAG AA) for text and interactive elements
- Labels and instructions for forms, and clear error messages
- Semantic structure and headings so screen readers and assistive tech can navigate the site
- Descriptive text for images where they convey information; decorative images are hidden from assistive tech
- Accessible modals and dialogs (focus management, Escape to close, clear labels)
- Respect for your system preference for reduced motion

Third-Party Content
Our site may include content or links from third parties (e.g. maps, external tools). We do not control the accessibility of those third-party resources but encourage providers to meet accessibility standards. If you have trouble with a specific third-party feature, please let us know so we can consider alternatives where feasible.
This statement applies to the The Bridge web application and marketing site. We review it periodically and update our practices as we improve accessibility.
